Chicken Drop is a farm-themed cluster game

A 7x7 grid is where every round of Chicken Drop takes place, a farm-themed video slot made by Pragmatic Play. Wins form when at least four matching symbols connect horizontally or vertically, with no paylines to line up. Each win triggers the Tumble Feature so the winning symbols make way for new ones and the round can go on. The symbols are fruit, corn, acorns, mushrooms, card suits and a BONUS treasure chest.

Ten, fifteen or twenty free spins start when four, five or six BONUS chests land anywhere on the grid. Three or more chests during the round add five more spins, with no limit on retriggers. Size and multiplier upgrades carry over for the whole round rather than resetting each spin, and at least one egg drop is guaranteed on every free spin.

Know the flow

From the first bet to the last tumble

Read this before your first session, or when a bonus round starts to feel unfamiliar.

  1. Same grid at every stake

A$0.20 is the lowest bet and A$240 the highest. The 7x7 layout and cluster rules stay the same at every stake, so a larger bet raises the money on each win.

  2. When the first cluster lands

7 by 7 cells make up the grid, and matching symbols that connect horizontally or vertically form a win. Winning symbols clear, and the Tumble Feature drops new ones in.

  3. Where the upgrades wait

7 features are listed for Chicken Drop, among them Scatter and Progressive Multiplier. The base game runs on the cluster and Tumble, and upgrades wait for the Free Spins.

  4. Count the chests on screen

4, 5 or 6 BONUS chests start the Free Spins, for 10, 15 or 20 spins. Three or more chests during the round add 5 spins, with no limit on retriggers.

  5. How far can one session swing?

A$1 is the top example bet, and its maximum win is A$5,000. Set your loss limit in dollars before the first spin, since high volatility can swing results quickly.

Covers how each mode starts, what it gives and what the paid features cost.

Chests landed, round starts

4, 5 or 6 BONUS (chest) symbols start the round with 10, 15 or 20 Free Spins. Three or more BONUS symbols during the round add 5 spins, with no limit. Size and multiplier upgrades last the round, and at least one egg drop is guaranteed on every free spin.

Spins fixed at purchase

A purchase costs 100x the current total bet and triggers the Free Spins round instantly. The number of BONUS (chest) symbols that land, 4, 5 or 6, is randomised at purchase time, giving 10, 15 or 20 spins.

Base GameFree Spins now

Before the first chest lands

Base Game plays on a fixed 7x7 grid. Clusters of at least 5 matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically pay, and the Tumble Feature runs after every win. Landing 4, 5 or 6 BONUS (chest) symbols anywhere on the grid triggers the Free Spins.

Can I try Chicken Drop without an account first?

Most players worry that learning the rules will cost them money before they understand them.

A$0.20 is the smallest real bet. The demo needs no money and pays nothing, while real play needs a Fairgo Casino account and you must be 18+.

Before the first Chicken Drop round starts

Four, five or six BONUS chests start the Free Spins round, and no one can tell in advance how often they land in a session. The result of one session is random, and a 96.50 or 96.53 RTP describes a long run of spins, not the next few hundred.

96.50 and 96.53 are the two RTP versions of Chicken Drop, and the game rules are the only place that names the one in use. Open the rules before the first spin, since the version can differ from the figure you read here.

A win of up to x5,000 your bet is the ceiling of Chicken Drop, and reaching it is very rare. A ceiling is not a target for any session, so plan your play around the bankroll you can afford to lose.

Four answers below

What should you know about Chicken Drop?

Most players worry about how big a win can get and what comes back over time.

What is the maximum win on Chicken Drop?

The top multiple is x5,000 of the bet. On the example top bet of A$1, that makes A$5,000, and at the highest bet of A$240 the same multiple reaches A$1,200,000. Nobody can know in advance whether a session reaches it.

Is Chicken Drop a high volatility slot?

The 7x7 grid of Chicken Drop comes with high volatility, so results swing more than in a low volatility game. Long stretches without a payout are part of that pattern, and a large win cannot be timed. Keep that in mind when you set your stake.

What are the minimum and maximum bets on Chicken Drop?

The lowest stake is A$0.20 and the highest is A$240, so the bet range is wide. The example bets on this page are A$0.20 and A$1. Your bet also sets the size of the payout, because each multiple is counted against it.

What is the RTP of Chicken Drop and its versions?

96.50 and 96.53 percent are the two RTP versions of Chicken Drop. RTP is the share of staked money the game returns over a very long run, not a promise for one session. The table below shows what each version returns on A$100 staked.
